I didn't want anything too expensive, as I'm currently deployed and didn't want an expensive violin to break while in transit. The rosin came cracked, which as I read other reviews is to be expected, but it's still quite usable. The tuner's not that great, it worked best with my friend's guitar, but I can't seem to get it to pick up the notes I play on the violin. I'll probably just use it for the metronome. I'm teaching myself and the lesson book is very straight forward and easy to understand. The case is cheap, but still very nice, with a little pocket for the rosin and a zipper pocket on the outside for other items. So far I haven't had to use the extra strings and bridge, but I'm thankful I have them for when I do.Awesome product Awesome color. It's sparkly. I had it taken to a music professional that teaches violin and found out that it is excellent in the quality of sound. I was concerned as to why the sound was clearer and crisper than the more expensive ones and I was told is is due to the type of wood. I do not regret having purchased this instrument at all. I am very thankful for the price and the quality of this instrument and plan to order another one soon. I recommend this to any parent who is in need of an inexpensive and good quality violin for his or her child! |
